*Vengeance is the short story that bridges the events in Remembrance and the final novel in the Saga.

In Vengeance we pick up right where Remembrance ended. Also the narrator changes from Lizzie to Chelsea, what was a nice change. I loved to see Chelsea´s point of view even when I didn´t agree with her.  The book is a short story a sequel to Michelle Madow´s Remembrance in the Transcend Time Saga.

Chelsea feels betrayed by her former best friend Lizzie. She can´t understand why the thing went so wrong for her. She tries to find answers and here comes Shannon in play. She offers Chelsea an explanation which is beyond her belief. But Chelsea agrees to give it a try.

Vengeance is pretty short, but it gives so much information away, that I kept wondering, how the story would continue. I understand Chelsea and her actions, but something tells me that this won´t end well, neither for her, nor for Lizzie or Drew. In this few pages Michelle managed to get mi intrigued and I kept on reading until the last sentence. Honestly I can tell that I wasn’t what I expected, but better. 

In some parts the book left me with open mouth. I didn´t expect what happened. And now when it´s all mixed together I can’t wait for Timeless. After reading Remembrance I was clear how it ended and didn’t expect that the events would turn in different way, but after reading Vengeance I really don’t know how the story would continue and that´s a good thing.

In Remembrance I didn’t like Chelsea at all. But here I felt kinda sorry for her because she didn’t really understand what the reason is for Drew leaving her. By the end of Vengeance she persuaded herself that the things which she is doing are right, though she doesn’t know what consequences her actions will have.

To sum it all, Vengeance is a nice bridge between Remembrance and Timeless which makes you want to read the third installment immediately. Timeless would be published on 20th November. I really can´t wait to read it.

Ak ste nečítali Remembrance, nečítajte anotáciu, obsahuje spoilery. 

Ako ďaleko ste ochotní zájsť, aby ste sa pomstili? 

Keď Chelsea Givens zistí, že jej ex Drew ju nechal kvôli jej bývalej najlepšej kamarátke Lizzie, nikdy v živote sa necítila tak podvedená. Potom jej nová kamarátka Shannon povie, jej môže pomôcť veci napraviť. Chelsea je ochotná počúvať, ale to čomu Shannon chce aby verila -že zdieľala minulý život s Drewom - je nemožné. A to, čo chce urobiť aby ho získala späť je priam šialené. 

Mohla by Shannon hovoriť pravdu? A ak áno, ako dlho jej bude trvať, aby prinútila Lizzie platiť?

Vengeance je krátky príbeh, ktorý premosťuje udalosti v Remembrance a záverečnej časti Ságy. /anotácia je mojim prekladom/

Vengeance nadväzuje presne tam kde Remembrance skončila. Príbeh rozpráva Chelsea, kdeže to v prvej knihe to bola Lizzie. Myslím, že je to príjemná zmena. Veľmi rada som videla Chelseain pohľad na vec, hoci som s ňou nesúhlasila. Kniha je krátkym príbehom, pokračovaním Ságy Transcend Time od Michelle Madow.

Chelsea sa cíti podvedená jej niekdajšou najlepšou kamarátkou Lizzie. Nechápe prečo sa veci pokašlali. Pokúša sa nájsť odpovede a tu prichádza do hry Shannon. Ponúkne Chelsea vysvetlenie, ktorému nechce veriť. Hoci súhlasí, že sa o to pokúsi.

Vengeance je dosť krátky príbeh, ale o to viac informácií sa dozvieme, vďaka ktorým som sa čudovala ako bude príbeh pokračovať. Chápem Chelseai a jej činy, ale niečo mi hovorí že to nedopadne dobre ani pre ňu ani pre Lizzie alebo Drewa. Na pár stranách sa dokázala Michelle udržať v napätí a donútila ma čítať až do poslednej vety. Úprimne, môžem povedať, že to nebolo to čo som očakávala ale lepšie. 

V niektorých častiach ma kniha zanechala s otvorenými ústami. Neočakávala som čo sa satne. A teraz, keď sa to tak zamotalo sa neviem dočkať, kedy si prečítam Timeless, záverečnú knihu ságy. Po prečítaní Remembrance mala som jasno ako to skončilo a neočakávala som, že udalosti by sa mohli vyvinúť iným smerom., ale po prečítaní Vengenace skutočne neviem ako bude príbeh pokračovať čo je dobrá vec.

V Remembrance som Chelsea nemala vôbec rada, ale tu mi jej bolo celkom ľúto, pretože naozaj nechápe dôvod, prečo ju Drew opustil. Na konci Vengeance presvedčí samú seba, že to čo robí je správne, hoci nevie aké následky môžu jej činy vyvolať.

Ak by som to zhrnula, Vengeance je pekným premostením medzi Remembrance a Timelss, ktoré vás donúti chcieť si prečítať tretie pokračovanie ihneď. Timeless sa dočkáme 20. novmbra a skutočne sa neviem dočkať, kedy si knihu prečítam.
